Germany’s specialized trade fair dedicated to internal and external security as well as the defense industry, Enforce Tac, will take place from 23 to 25 February 2026 in Nuremberg. Held under the patronage of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the event will focus on countering hybrid threats, advancing networked security systems, and shaping Europe’s defense strategies.

Restricted Access for Industry Stakeholders

Enforce Tac is a restricted-access event open exclusively to professionals with defined authority and responsibilities within the security and defense sectors. Participation is limited to representatives from national and international law enforcement agencies, armed forces, intelligence services, diplomatic missions, defense industry manufacturers, and relevant academic institutions. In 2025, the fair welcomed nearly 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and around 19,000 professional visitors. The 2026 edition is expected to further expand this scale.

The products and systems to be showcased at the fair are grouped under the following main categories:

  • Wheeled and tracked mobility solutions for complex operations.
  • Unmanned systems (robotic/UxV) and drone technologies.
  • Thermal imaging, optical, and optronic systems.
  • Weapons, ammunition, and advanced munitions systems.
  • Cybersecurity and communication technologies.

Enforce Tac Conference and Strategic Sessions

The Enforce Tac Conference, scheduled for 23 February, the opening day of the fair, will address the latest developments in defense technologies from a technical perspective. Jasmin Rutka, Exhibition Director of the conference, described the event’s objective as follows: “With the Enforce Tac Conference, we are creating a platform where technological expertise meets practical requirements and strategic perspectives. Particularly in the field of electronic and software-based systems, we observe significant innovation pressure and a clear need for effective communication between developers, industry stakeholders, and end users.”

The conference program will feature speakers including Brigadier General Dr. Volker Pötzsch, Alexander Philipp, Dr. Markus Reisner, and Professor Patrick Glauner. They will deliver presentations on artificial intelligence, software-defined defense concepts, and the challenges of electronic warfare in modern battlefields.

Mühimmat Sempozyumu ve Canlı Gösterimler

As part of the event, a dedicated symposium will be held to strengthen the resilience of ammunition supply chains. Dirk Prehn, Managing Director of RWS GmbH, commented on the topic, stating: “Innovation is the key to a more secure future in ammunition production. To meet increasing demands, we must rethink technology, quality standards, and production speed.”

Visitors will also have the opportunity to observe live demonstrations in the “Enforce Tac Village,” showcasing how networked security technologies are deployed in realistic operational scenarios. Leading industry players such as Rheinmetall, KNDS, and Diehl Defence will present next-generation vehicle systems and tactical equipment in the “Armored Forces Area.”

Within the framework of the German-Nordic Defense Industry Dialogue, the event aims to strengthen strategic partnerships with Northern European countries. Meanwhile, the “International Startup Area” and the “Innovation Stage” will provide a platform for emerging companies to present their defense technologies to potential investors and industry stakeholders.
