An official protocol has been signed for the 24-classroom Medcem Taşucu Secondary School, which will be constructed in the Taşucu neighborhood of Mersin’s Silifke district. The school project, to be realized in collaboration with Medcem Cement Group and Eren Holding, aims to strengthen the educational infrastructure of the region.
The signing ceremony of the project was held with the participation of Mersin Governor Atilla Toros. At the ceremony, Medcem Cement Group CEO and Board Member Mehmet Ali Ceylan and Eren Energy Board Member Saadettin Yılmaz signed the prepared protocol.
With the completion of the 24-classroom secondary school planned for the Taşucu neighborhood, the project aims to alleviate student overcrowding in the region and enhance the quality of education. In his speech at the ceremony, Governor Atilla Toros emphasized that the project is a significant asset for Mersin and Silifke, expressing his hope that this initiative would serve as a model for other organizations.

The new school to be constructed within the scope of the project is considered a part of the group's education-oriented efforts in the region.
