One of Europe’s most established tourism events, Vakantiebeurs is preparing to open its doors in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from January 8 to 11, 2026.
Organized since 1970, the event will bring travel enthusiasts, tourism professionals, and world cultures together on a single platform at the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs venue.
Capturing the pulse of the global travel industry, Vakantiebeurs will once again present a wide spectrum ranging from exotic destinations to local tourism routes. Throughout the fair, visitors will have the opportunity to meet tourism experts and receive personalized holiday plans, hidden route recommendations, and insider travel tips. With hundreds of organizations participating, from hotels to tour operators, the exhibition will showcase travel options suited to every budget and preference.
Going beyond a traditional trade event, the fair promises visitors a sensory journey around the world. At the dedicated “World Market” area, exotic flavors and spices from countries ranging from Indonesia to Suriname will be on display. In addition, traditional dance performances and African drum shows held throughout the day across all halls will allow visitors to experience different cultures firsthand.
Vakantiebeurs 2026 will also stand out with its interactive activities. Visitors can enjoy adrenaline-filled moments at the “Rodeo Challenge,” while the “Holiday Maze” will offer a fun way to discover their next travel destination. The fair aims to create a vibrant discovery space where every type of traveler, from solo adventurers to families with children, can collect unforgettable memories.
Vakantiebeurs 2026 will take place from January 8 to 11 at Halls 7, 8, and 12 of the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs.
