EuroShop 2026, considered the world's largest and most influential trade platform for the retail industry, is preparing to open its doors in Düsseldorf, Germany, between February 22–26, 2026.

Organized under the theme of the Global Retail Festival, the event will bring together approximately 1,900 exhibiting companies from over 60 countries and tens of thousands of professionals in a massive ecosystem.

The Heart of the Fair: Store Design

As the largest and most central dimension of EuroShop 2026, “Shopfitting & Store Design” is positioned as the flagship of the fair this year. In this section, where approximately 450 exhibitors will take part, world-leading architectural offices and store design giants will present their latest projects in a registered exhibition area exceeding 27,000 square meters. In an era where retail spaces are evolving beyond being just places to sell products into experience centers, architectural aesthetics and functionality will be the focal point of the fair.

EuroShop 2026 focuses not only on physical equipment but also on digital and strategic concepts that change the DNA of retail. In addition to the main theme of sustainability, the following four critical topics will determine the sector's roadmap this year:

  • Artificial Intelligence: The AI revolution in retail, from operational efficiency to personalized customer analysis.
  • Digitalization: In-store digital solutions and seamless omnichannel commerce infrastructures.
  • Emotionalization: Memorable store layouts with a story that establish an emotional connection with the customer.
  • Sustainability: Energy management, use of eco-friendly materials, and circular economy solutions.

Innovation Hubs and Special Experience Areas

The innovation areas, considered one of the most creative sections of the fair, have taken on a more interactive and visionary structure this year:

  • Designers’ Village: High-quality interior designs and forward-looking architectural concepts for even the most demanding retail requirements.
  • Start-up Hub: A dynamic platform where young companies showcase their innovative, groundbreaking solutions in retail technology.
  • Food Service Innovation Hub: The latest kitchen technologies and gastronomy trends for the integration of gastronomy with retail.
  • VM Experience: The new focal point for 2026, the Visual Merchandising area. It will offer an interactive and experience-oriented setup open to visitor participation.

The Exhibition Will Spread Throughout the City

Going beyond traditional trade fair formats, EuroShop 2026 offers a comprehensive educational program with conferences held on seven separate stages and eight special areas. The exclusive content prepared for industry professionals is not limited to the exhibition grounds:

  • Guided Innovation Tours: Curated by industry experts, these tours provide visitors with a compact vision by focusing on the latest innovations and best practice examples.
  • Düsseldorf Store Tours: Spreading the exhibition's impact throughout the city, these tours will allow for on-site examination of the most successful retail implementation examples in Düsseldorf.

The EuroShop 2026 Trade Fair can be visited in Düsseldorf between February 22–26, 2026.
