In the "2026 Trade Delegations Launch and B2B Target Countries Strategy" program organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the success of the Turkish furniture sector in the African market was officially recognized. The classic and luxury furniture manufacturer Asortie Mobilya was honored with a special plaque for its high export performance on the African continent.
25 Billion Dollar Potential in Africa Exports
At the meeting held at the TIM Foreign Trade Complex, Türkiye's Africa vision and strategic roadmap were shared. African exports, which stood at 19.4 billion dollars in 2024, are projected to exceed 22 billion dollars in 2025. While it was stated that this figure reaches levels of 25-27 billion dollars when indirect exports and suitcase trade are included, the construction, energy, and furniture sectors stand out as the locomotives of growth.
Exhibition Participation Achieved in 38 Countries
Asortie Mobilya participated in international fairs organized in 38 different countries across the African continent throughout 2025. As a result of these intensive promotional activities, the company increased its export volume in the African market by 350% compared to the previous year. The brand's value-added production model and its projects in the luxury segment were the primary factors in granting the award.
Gafur Yılmaz: “We Clearly Feel the Support of Our State in the Field”
Asortie Furniture Board Member and Trade Manager Gafur Yılmaz, who received the award from the Chairman of TIM, Mustafa Gültepe, made the following evaluations at the ceremony: “Throughout 2025, we participated in trade fairs in 38 countries across Africa. As a result of these efforts, we increased our African exports by 350%. The trade delegations and B2B organizations carried out under the coordination of TIM provide both confidence and momentum to the Turkish exporter. We clearly feel the support of our state in the field.”
2026 Target: 75 Countries
